For the Spanish ships I have identified all the ships including the fireships and those used during the battle, and 8 of the 10 galleys. for the 25 or 35 barcos longos I identified the number of sailors in 25 of them (a captain and 11 sailors), so they are smaller than . I'm working on artillery of every ship in the Simancas' archives.

La Corona de Costumbres had 22 canons in 1640 and also in 1642. In 1640 Bronze guns
2 with 10 poundss
12 with 7 pounds
2 with 3 pounds
& Iron guns
2 with 16 pounds
4 with 10 pounds

The French glleys were: La Patronne Réale de France, La Richelieu, La Cardinale, La Ducale, La Sériganne, La Vinceguerre, La Princesse, La Chastelus, La Vigilante, La Renarde, La Houdancourt, La Mont-Réale, La Vaubelle, La Fronsac, La Baillibaude, La Saint Philippe (espagnole capturée en 1641 devant Tarragone), La Cabris

I have identified all the Spanish ships that fought in the battle and 8 of the 10 galleys. For the French fleet I identified 27 ships of the 41, the 17 galleys and 14 candidates for the 13 brulots. I have also candidates for the rest of the ships (a list of French fleet in Toulon at the beginning of the 1643 campaign)

The Spanish shipwreck was the Galion La Madalena (68), nurnt by the same fireship, the Marsay. We have found the last shipwreck near the Sitges beach.
