Memorial inscription St James's Church, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, England: EDWARD RUSHWORTH Esqr. / Captain in the ROYAL NAVY, / who fell a Victim to the Climate of the West Indies / when in Command of his Majesty's Ship / Barbadoes. / His Remains were interred with Military Honors / at Port Royal Jamaica, / who departed this Life June 19th. 1812. / Aged 25
