Portsmouth, 18 July 1801: Captain Thomas Peyton, of the De Ruyter, of 68 guns, a Dutch ship in His Majesty’s service, is appointed to the command of His Majesty’s ship Monarch, of 74 guns. [Portsmouth Telegraph, 13 July 1801]
