Nucella was a lieutenant on _Marlborough_ at the Battle of Toulon, February 11/22, 1744.

Charnock, 4, 404: Nucella was a lieutenant in /Port Mahon/ (i.e., the 20-gun 6th rate, not the naval base on the island of Minorca) in 1740 and in /Marlborough/, flagship of Adm. Thomas Mathews, at the Battle of Toulon, Feb. 11/22, 1744.
