I'm doing some research on John Calcraft Watson (1774-1811), who served as a surgeon's mate and surgeon in the Royal Navy. As well as Queen (90) and Alfred (74), I understand his last ship was Princess Royal (90), suggesting his career was brief (1795-1807). Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
