Madrid, 16 September 1765: Two Spanish ships of war, the Achilles, and Astrea, arrived lately at Cadiz from New Spain, and have brought above two millions of dollars in gold and silver, besides many valuable effects; about one half of the money is for the Catholic King’s account ; and the remainder for the commerce. [Exeter Evening Post, 3 October 1765]
