Admiralty Office, November 28.

Captain Arbuthnot , Commander of his Majesty's Sloop Jamaica, being on a cruize on the 23d Instant, espied a sail coming from under St. Alban's Point, to which he gave chace at 1 o'Clock, and came up with her at 6 in the evening . She proved to be a French Cutter Privateer, called the Furet of Boulogne , of 8 carriage and 6 swivel guns, and 43 men, and Captain Arbuthnot has brought her with him into Spithead.
