I beg to inform you of my arrival here, and that on the 19th Instant, I captured off Portland , the small French Cutter Privateer "Petit Chasseur" , of Granville , Pierre Antonare , Master , armed with 1 carriage gun , muskets , and sabres , &c. ; she had taken , a brig belonging , to Sunderland , which I recaptured ; her Name unknown , it , being late when we boarded her .
