London, 25 May 1801: The Highland Chief, from Bengal, brings intelligence that the troops from India for Egypt entered the Red Sea on their way to Suez in December last. Governor Brook, from St Helena, came passenger in the Highland Chief. [Hampshire Chronicle, 1 June 1801]
