Could you check the date of sale? Records show that the HALDANE was sold on behalf of the British Admiralty and renamed the BATHURST in 1820 and was already on a circumnavigation of the Australian continent at 30th May, 1821.
Also, do you have any illustrations of the ship?

She was built at Fort William, Calcutta, as a Bengal Pilot HALDANE in 1797.
