Portsmouth, 30 September 1815: The Herald, 20, Capt Milward, and the Rinaldo, Capt Undrell, have arrived this week from the Jamaica station, which they left on the 30th of July, in charge of 68 sail of merchantmen, which arrived safe except one vessel. The Herald brought a freight of merchants’ money, amounting to 630,000 dollars. The Herald has since sailed for Chatham, and the Rinaldo for Sheerness, to be paid off. [Hampshire Telegraph, 2 October 1815]
