Papers Respecting The Navy, Presented In Pursuance Of Addresses of the House of Lords to His Majesty.
Navy Office, 18th March 1805

HMS Spy was purchased form John Lyall
'Comet' was 5 year old and has 274bm
was purchased for £4,100
moreover £2,724 were spent to fitting the ship at King'S Yard.
