5 Aug.1801, the boats of the squadron, boarded the wreck of Jason36, under fire from French batteries, and smaller vessels with which she was surrounded. Lt. Ross of the Weazle made an aborted attempt to set her on fire,
6 Aug.1801, Lt. Ross of the Weazle with the boats of the Weazle, Insolent, and Liberty, which also engaged the French squadron Were able to board and destroy the wrecked Jason36.

27th February 1802 Weazle sloop of war, Captain Durban, which sailed with dispatches from Plymouth arrived at Malta, excepting, however, Mr. Elphinstone, the Surgeon had died on the passage.
