Notes on Action

ActionNWB

In late April 1679 the two Danish ships were sent to Bornholm from Copenhagen to transport 500 Swedish prisoners back to Copenhagen. On 3 May 1679 whilst returning to Copenhagen they were attacked by a Swedish flotilla coming from Kalmar, the action lasting until nightfall, at which point they were able to elude their attackers and safely reach Copenhagen.
