10-Gun Brig-Aviso

This Class was ordered in 1841 following a proposal by Boucher to build a new type of brig-aviso with an armament of 24p carronades , reduced length , increased beam , and modified lines . The changes were intended to increase the stability , capacity , and speed of the ships .

Mast of the Class same as "Agile" in 1854 : Main 44ft 0in x 1ft 10in; Fore 40ft 8in x 1ft 9in

Boucher completed the plans for "Agile" in 4.41 .

Allix completed the plans for "Rossignol" in 6.41 .

Larchevesque-Thibaut completed the plans for "Pandour" in 7.41 .

Guieysse completed the plans for "Léger" in 6.41 .

Armament later , no year : 6 French 16cm Shell Gun for "Rossignol" and "Léger"
