Many thanks, that helps fill in some gaps. Incidentally my mother was head teacher of Kirkby Mallory school in the 1970's.

Son of Sir Clobery Noel, 5th Baronet (c. 1695 - 30 July 1733), of Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire, was an English Tory politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1727 to 1734.
Memorial stone to Capt. Thomas Noel in the choir stalls in 'All Saints Church' Kirkby Mallory says Captain of 'Princess Louise', died at the battle of Minorca and is buried at the "English Church' Gibraltar.
