17.7.1690 Lieutenant (sic) Thomas Acton of the Suffolk. After the recent engagement at sea he was wounded in the shoulder and many of his men were wounded or sick. Some died before they reached St. Katherine's, they asked to be admitted to St. Thomas's Hospital but that was full so they went to St. Bartholomew's. He hopes to be back on board the ship in a few weeks.ADM 106
