William Albany Otway (1755-1815) was commissioned Lieutenant, HMS Dolphin, 6th/24, in the East Indies by RAdm Sir Robert Harland. The commission was confirmed by Admiralty on 24 Oct 1774 (ADM 6/21, p.55). His Lieutenant's Log covering 25 Aug 1773 to 19 July 1774 is at the NMM (ADM/L/D/140A/2, "unfit for production")
