Hi Susan I've been stuck at this brick wall for a while. Records of birth/baptism/death dates don't quite add up for this George SCOLLOUGH to be the father of this Maria SCOLLOUGH, but there must be a link because of the rarity of the surname. I have started a SCOLLOUGH Name Study with the Guild of One-Name Studies (GOONS). If you have anymore information I would love to hear from you through my GOONS page, Sharon

I am trying to trace the parentage of Maria Scollough born in Clerkenwell in approx 1810 - 1812. Other researchers have linked her to this George Scollough. Could she be a daughter/granddaughter? Not always possible to be sure that people have been accurate about their age! One of the witnesses to her marriage at St. John the Baptist, Hoxton in 1835 was a Chas? Sheeren? - similar name to Charlottes surname. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
