17641769He was compromised in 1764 in the rebellion of the Parliament of Brittany against the Duke of Aiguillon. Outlawed, he went to Spain where he joined the navy. Sent to Central America, he met the daughter of the governor of Caracas in Venezuela, born in 1748 in Pasajes (Guipuzcoa, province of Pamplona in Spain), Anna Maria Teresa de Massa y Leunda y Aristiguieta, whom he married in Havana (Cuba) June 30, 1768. The family of Anna Maria will also be illustrated by her parent, Simon Bolivar "el Libertador", born in Caracas in 1783 and died in Santa Marta (Colombia) in 1830.ref:631
