Hello, thank you for such an informative website. I am researching John Campbell who according to CSORN, was a lieutenant in 1797, retired as a commander in 1830, and died in 1834. I couldn't find him on your website. Am I missing something? I don't have access to CSORN, but this information was mentioned in a book "Drawing after the antique at the British Museum" Essay by Martin Myrone. It confirms other information for this John Campbell, who emigrated to Prince Edward Island in 1833 with his family, and died there on 11 May 1834. He was known as 'Captain John Campbell of the Royal Navy', but all the information I have says he was a commander.
