Hello Nowell relatives ????????
I have a fair bit of info in our family tree (Cooperbase) on ancestry.com about Lt William Calmady Nowell (b 1799) and his father Admiral William Nowell (b1754) including a portrait of Wm C Nowell, who was my great great grandfather. I don’t have a portrait of his father William, although we do have some of his naval commission documents. Both are buried in the church graveyard at Iffley, Oxford UK

This is my 4x's great grandfather. I've searched high and low for any images of this man without success. Does anyone have a picture of him? Please contact me if you have one.

I wonder if Vice Admiral William Nowell is lieutenant William Nowell’s father? Lieutenant Nowell was born in 1788 in Cornwall. He is my great great great great grandfather.

Could William Nowell possibly be an ancestor of a Samuel Nowell who was born in Portugal, died in New Hampshire, USA?
Any information available to help me track this link?

Vice Admiral William Nowell is buried in Iffley Village, Oxford. I have cleaned up, and tend his grave.
