Some data for his record: 12/February/1745 captures the HMS Comet.January 1746 defeats in combat 6 English corsairs on the outskirts of Havana. 1747 captures 18 merchant ships in three months. September 1747 fights with HMS Lyme, probably sinks her. October 1748 fights HMS Lenox. October 1748 captures the merchant frigate Bahasser.

The correct name of the captain is Pedro de Garaycoechea. Built in the Havana shipyard in 1744. Designed by Juan Acosta. 22 12-pounder guns on deck, 2 12-pounder and 2 18-pounder guns in the inter-deck and 2 6-pounder guns in the castle. 22 "pedreros" . 320 men. 54 keel cubits, 17 cubits and 17 inches beam. 32 oars. 257 tonnage.
