Built in Ferrol. Last frigate of two bridges built in Spain. It began its construction with drawings by Romero Landa in 1784.
It measured 151 feet in width, 144.8 of keel, 41.3 of sleeve, 21.7 of strut and 19.9 of plane. It had a tonnage of 824 tons and 1,417 displacement.
Armed with 20 12-pound guns in the low battery, 20 8-pounds in the high battery, 4-4 pdr in the forecasle and 2 3-pdr swivel guns. Crewed by 306 men.
