This ship is listed as the one who brought 2 of these regiscides to amaerica in 1660. I found in an article found in american heritage website under hunting for regicides.

I too am researching the ship that brought Daniel Gookin and the two regicides Goffe and Whalley to Massachusetts arriving July 1660. Any definitive information would be appreciated.

Hi, I’m researching a gentleman who sailed to Boston in 1661, apparently onboard the Prudent Mary. Is this that ship? and are there and illustrations/ paintings of the ship to be found?

Not sure about the regicides ship, but the East India Company was founded with a charter from Elizabeth 1st on 31st Dec. 1600.
I'm afraid I fail to see any reason not to use an East India company ship, except that they generally sailed to the East Indies and not the Americas, so will be going the wrong way.
During 1660 this vessel was in private ownership so is certainly a possiblity.

I'm looking for the Prudent Mary that Captain Daniel Gookin sailed with the regicides from Gravesend England on 12 May 1660, landed in Boston on 27 July 1660.
It was not in service to the East India Company - Thomas Myddleton of Chirk Wales formed the East India Company and financed Charles II to regain the throne, so the regicides would not have used one of the East India ships.

Was this the ship that carried Puritans, including the regicides Edward Whalley and William Goffe, from Gravesend to Boston- departed 5/14, arrived July 27, 1660?

Sorry, that's a different Prudent Mary. This one was burnt as a fireship in 1673.
There was a Prudent Mary in EIC service 1682-88 that would be a better candidate, but it's not on Three Decks yet.

I recently obtained the Will of James Watson 1692 a mariner and relative of mine. (Court of Canterbury)
He is about to sail to East India in the Prudent Mary in the service of the East India Company. He state the Captain to be Captain LAKE
