His Majesty's Ship the Venus , commanded by Captain Thomas Harrison , being on a cruise , on the 1st of May fell in with two privateers , to which he gave chace , being in the Latitude 470 30' the Lizard N. E. 75 Leagues : one of which he took , and proved to be the Micollet of Bayonne , of 14 guns and 136 men . And on the 4th Instant the Venus came up with anid took the Nostra Segnora de Begonia , a spanish privateer belonging to Bilboa , of 16 6-pounders and 20 swivel guns , and 195 men .
