In the execution of your Lordship's Orders of the 28th of November , yesterday being in Latitude 40 deg. 59 min. N. and Longitude 12 deg. 59 min. W. I have the honor to inform your Lordship I fell in with and captured (after 16 hours chace) Le Bayonnois French Privateer Brig , of 6 guns and 40 men , 31 days out from Bayonne , and had taken nothing .
Her guns were thrown overboard in the chace .
