Hi Was there any Polish crew on the Ville de Varsovie? I found a description of one of the prisoners of Polish descent who may have been on the ship. Poles fought for Napoleon at the time. They believed that Napoleon would win the war in Europe and give them a free Poland. At that time we were occupied by Prussia.
