Captain Webb, Commander of his Majesty's Sloop the Jamaica, on the 28 th Instant, fell in with a back of the Isle of Wight, a French Privateer Cutter called the Dragon, belonging to St. Malo, of 8 guns and 37 men, which he has taken and brought into Spithead ; and retook the Oxford Sloop, John Randel, Master, belonging to Emsworth, laden with coals from Whitehaven, which the said Cutter Privateer had taken 2 hours before he came up with her.
