Brig, there are drawings exist 388 24/94bm

Brig Avon built in 26 days for a privateer based of lines of Reindeer, originally pierced for 22 guns. Seized by HMS Barbaeues, purchased by her master Nye , 30.08.1815 bacok in Boston via Cherlestown. From Nov 1815 master Isaac Whittemore of Boston , arrived Coquimbo 1818 from Sandwich Islands and was sold here on 23.05.1818 for 30,000 pesos. Renamed Chacabuco, she was sold in 1826 to the Argentinean authorities at Buenos Aires. She was badly damaged in July 1822 in a tempest off Va1paraiso, which caused that she was disarmed and laid up.
