Gore's Liverpool General Advertiser - Thursday 03 April 1800

The Brig TELEGRAPH

... a French privateer, captured H.M Sloop, Kangaroo, a .. vessel, remarkablywell founded, pierced for 18 guns, has 14 .. and four mounted, of the following dimnensions; Length alost; 84 feet, breadth of Beam 22 feet, Depth from Deck to Skin 10ft, and admeasures about 159 tons.

She could not be built by Perry, Blackwall as the Yard list of Blackwall exist, and was for example published in "Shipbuilders of the Thames and Medway" by Banbury.
