The Captain Corsair Pieter de Ro of Ostende attack the french frigate "Notre Dame des Anges" Captain Alexandre Jacobsen and retake a prize .

Because of the weather Jacobsen go to Ostende and his frigate is seize .

Jacobsen go to jail at the tavern "de Katspel"

One of the first skirmish between Dunkirk and Ostende since Dunkirk become french in 1662 .

Forces : 40 privateers at Ostende against 2 at Dunkirk
