Notes on Ship

Nameref:817

The 'üç kantarlı' was a type of ship specifically designed to mount huge '3-kantar' guns (which fired marble shot weighing 3 kantar or 336 pounds). This particular 'üç kantarlı' did not received an individual name. Constriuction began in late June or early July 1733.
