London, 22 February 1752: Thursday was launched from Well’s Dock at Deptford, the Winchelsea, Capt Baron, a twenty gun ship in the service of the East India Company; at which were present several persons of distinction. [Kentish Post, 26 February 1752]

2) 7.3.1758 - 14.12.1760: Coromandel Coast and China. Captain Thomas Howe.
3) 25.3.1762 - 20.3.1764: Bombay direct.
20.3.1764: Wrecked on the Gasper Sands, River Hooghly, after being diverted to Calcutta to pick up a cargo.
