Notes on Ship



The American privateer schooner WILLIAM BAYARD taken by WARSPITE on 12 March 1813.
Broken up in 1822.

1813 Lieut. Mayson WRIGHT, Spithead.
In October 1813 Lieut. WRIGHT was promoted to commander and ALBAN was re-rated as a sloop of war so he could continue in command.
J. WINGRAVE was first lieutenant and William CUMING purser.
To the West Indies at the end of 1813, Spithead May 1814, Halifax January 1815.
