My ggg-grandfather's brother Edward Slee was on the Earl of Ashburnham on its voyoge of 1765 to India and China. He apparently died during the voyage but details are unknown to me - probate on his will was granted to his older brother John, the attorney for his father, in 1767.

Are individual records available on deaths at sea etc for East India Company ships?
