Sold to Peter Dore.

1778: Sold to T.Hanson & Co., London and renamed JUPITER. Employed in the North Atlantic trade.
1781: Sold to William Mears. Renamed ROYAL BISHOP. Taken up on
charter by the East India Company.

On 15 April, 1774, Captain Tobias Furneaux in Adventure at Cape Town wrote, “Anchored here the Egmont and Northington East Indiaman. Saluted us each with 9 Guns, returned 7 to each".
