SIR, I beg to acquaint you, for the Information of my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, that on the 20th Instant, St. Ive's bearing S. W. 10 leagues, I fell in with and captured, after a chace of 24 hours, L'Audacieux French Lugger Privateer, M. Jacques de Bon, Commander, mounting 1 18-pounder and 2 swivels, and manned with 46 men, from St. Malo, out 6 days; had only taken a Danish Brig, from Liverpool bound to Hamburgh which I had the satisfaction to retake also a few hours afterwards.
