Hi there. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is the Arundel that was fitted out to take passengers to Australia in 1831/32. I am doing my family history and they came out on the Arundel arriving in Australia on 11 Nov 1832. Cheers Rhonda

January 12, 1757 - The ship HMS Hampshire, commanded by Captain Norbury, having under his convoy the transport ships carrying 3 remainder companies of the Highlanders of the 42nd, 3 Companies for Montgomery's Highlanders and 3 for Fraser's stationed at Halifax who had a passage of 12 weeks from Cork, Ireland and met with very bad weather. Upon arrival of the convoy in Port in NYC, HMS Arundal and HMS Salisbury Transports were missing. They finally arrived into Rhode Island.
