Non-comm officers 1766-68 for Captain Samuel Wallis's circumnavigation of the globe, and discovery of Tahiti which thereby became the destination for Captain Cook, included Francis Pender (1747-1820) commissioned Lieutenant 2 June 1772 who went on to be Captain of Queen (98) at Trafalgar, and later Vice-Admiral.
