The Nautilus brig, now called the Young Emulous, has sailed from Halifax on a cruise, commanded by Capt. Mulcaster, late of the Emulous, lost on Cape Sables

The Providence Gazette, Feb. 8, 1812 p.2 Feb 3
The British sloop of war Emulous, of 19 guns, Capt. Mulcaster, arrived at Sandy Hook yesterday from Bermuda, via Norfolk. We are informed that she has come to take out J. P. Morier, Esq., lately appointed by the Prince Regent, one of the Commissioners for South America.
