Captain Daniel Lloyd, London. Last night he received report from Lieutenant Coleman who is on board the Reserve in his absence. Sir John Berry has passed on their demand for a best bower cable and a small bower cable which were broken when the ship fouled a lost anchor. It also seems that a ship has broken the Reserve's spritsail yard which has been repaired. Five men ran away with the long boat which has been recovered though the men escaped. The lieutenant is complaining about the Boatswain's idleness. He has an order from Mr Pepys reducing his complement to 150 men. They were victualled for 250 men till next 28th of February and the surplus was put on board the Greenwich at Dover. The Pilot who is 71 years old is still a prisoner on board. Asks for directions.
