1807 Feb 18 Severe gale in the Channel wrecks Prospero 8 bomb vessel, Speedwell 14 brig sloop Lieutenant William Robertson [all lost] off Dieppe. Inveterate 12 Acting Lieutenant John Kingdon, Wrecked near St Valery en Caux, Calais and Griper 12 founders off Ostend. next day the 19th Ignition 8 fire vessel wrecked off Dieppe.
