William Eardley Amiel was my gggf descended from a very prosperous but divided family effectively ejected from Boston ca.1788. His father was one of six Amiel brothers, most British army officers who came to London. William had a sister named Helena Woodley Losack Amiel, 1805-1893 and there are very few of this family of about 30 people, (extinct by 1890) who do not have an interesting tale to tell. He lies next to his wife in the catacombs of Kensal Green Cemetery, London,(one of the so-called Magnificent Seven), and when I asked for permission to be allowed entry I was told that due to Health and Safety reasons, the presence of spores prevented access.
