London Gazette 1696, Cadiz, Aug. 12 - On the 2d of this month Captain Kirkton, Commander of the Rochester Man of War, took off Cape Spartell a French ship of 250 tun, and 20 guns, bound from Marseilles to Martinico, laden with all sorts of necessaries for that Island.
