Thomas Hoskins Naval Reciord ADM 196/1/55 served as Master of the Venerable 12 May 1808 to 19 June 1809

King wrote to the Admiralty and gave them a list of petty officers serving on board Venerable on November 4, 1809: John Burlace, 2nd mate; Mor'l Tate, Capt MT; Benj'n Brown, Capt FTop; James Jones, Capt FTop; John Middleditch, Cap MTop; John Gordon, 2nd Master; John Kidd, Cap Fore Castle; Wm Holinsworth, do; Wm Smith, BM; Thos Botts, Capt After Guard; Rob Dick, do.
