You are directed to have the PLAY prize, being the bigger of the two French prizes, lately taken by the NONSUCH, to be fitted for sea service in the Channel. She is to be established with 130 men and 30 guns, of which 16 are to be Saker of 22 hundred weight and 14 of 18 hundred weight each.
ADM/AThe Commissioners of the Ordnance wrote to us on 4 September to advise that the 30 Saker guns proposed for the PLAY prize, cannot be supplied out of their Majesties stores, but the guns listed in the margin of this letter may be spared. You are directed, if you have no objection thereto, to have these guns established to her and to make a report to the Board.
