ADM 106Judgement of a court martial held on the Cleveland yacht by order of the Commissioner for executing the office of the Lord High Admiral. To enquire about the loss of the Sedgemore near the South Foreland last January. The court found no evidence against either of the Lieutenants, the Master, Boatswain or the Mates, and cleared them of being guilty of the loss of the ship. They find that the Pilot, Jeremy Gardner, had charge of the ship in bad weather, when the land was covered in snow do adjudge him to loss of pay and to be made incapable of being Pilot aboard any of their Majesties' ships
