Boston, 5 December 1719: Two of his Majesty’s men of war, viz, the Rose, Captain Whitney, and the Shark, Capt Pomroy, are gone down to Nankasket, in order to fall to the Leeward Islands. [Newcastle Courant, 4 February 1720]
