Portsmouth, 4 May 1816: A Court Martial was held on Monday last, at Plymouth, on Lieut H Heyman, 1st of his Majesty’s ship Podargus, charged with acts of drunkenness, when he was sentenced to be placed at he bottom of the list of Lieutenants. [Hampshire Telegraph, 6 May 1816]

For sale, at the Exchange Mart, Plymouth, on Friday the 8th of March next – The French sloops, La Rose Madelain, of about 85 tons, condemned as prize to his Majesty’s ship Hyperion, W P Cumby, Esq, Captain; and Les Deux Amis, of about 75 tons, condemned as prize to his Majesty’s sloop Podargus, James Wallis, Esq, commander. Both well calculated for the coasting trade. Now lying in Stonehouse Pool...further particulars may be had at the office of Mr W P Smith, No 44 George Street, Plymouth Dock. [Exeter Flying Post, 29 February 1816]
